But are beautiful photos of a "perfect" life or an exotic vacation all that? No! Meet the lesser-known meme side of Instagram.

Instagram has been with us since 2010. ! People like to publicly share photos of their daily activities, so this lifestyle app has gained popularity in a short period of time and is not losing it despite the arrival of a new popular medium - TikTok. It also proved to be a great sales platform. It is mainly on it that we observe modern influencers in every possible field. There is a widespread belief that Instagram is only for sharing beautiful photos of the "perfect" life, exotic vacations, pictures of food or cute pets. Tips for marketers include how to create such aesthetic content and which popular influencers and celebrities to follow on a regular basis. However, there is also another side to this application that is worth watching to stay up to date with what is happening on the web. It may prove equally inspiring for your brand.

Popular memes and absurd humor are also used by Polish brands. One company has released a series of ketchups with the aforementioned Robert Makłowicz, whose amusing image appears on the packaging. Another brand opted for an absurdist commercial reminiscent of the 1980s in style, where a well-known actor plays the "king of hand washing." In turn, one of the catering companies on social media advertises an unusual influencer... a black monkey who shares his thoughts on food with users. There are also brands that simply upload posts to Instagram in the form of memes. Others engage the aforementioned profile makers and satirical cartoonists. So the possibilities are almost endless! So it's worth keeping up to date with what's happening on this less obvious side of Instagram as well, in order to create content tailored to your specific target audience.
