Volkswagen Poland has launched a test drive configurator on its website.

It offered customers such a solution as the first car brand on the market. This is another project for Volkswagen Poland created by Artegence, where the agency was responsible for concept, design, development and analytics.

In a Digital Customer Journey study we conducted together with media house PHD, automotive customers were very clear about the importance of a test drive in the buying process. Many unequivocally said that they make the final decision to buy a car while driving. At the same time, customers stressed that when they sign up for a car test, they expect more details about the car they will drive. They have their preferences in terms of model, engine or even equipment version and are looking for a car that suits them. In a workshop with Artegence, we developed a concept that allows people to take a test drive in exactly the Volkswagen of their dreams. It is extremely important for us to look at such solutions from the client’s point of view, hence the strong emphasis on the UX of the application and continuous testing of the solution already in operation, which allows for its improvement. The first results are extremely promising and show that the tool has been very well received by our customers.

Whether the test drive is free, what documents you need to sign before the drive, whether you need to refuel the car after the drive, whether you can connect your phone to the car, and much more.
