PKO Bank Polski

The 100th anniversary of the founding of PKO Bank Polski.

PKO Bank Polski is part of history – for a century, it has actively participated in Poland’s social and economic changes. In honor of the anniversary, we designed a website, as well as a printed album titled, “The Jubilee. “One Hundred Years of Bold Decisions of PKO Bank Polski,” which summarizes the bank’s 100 years of activity.

What was the challenge?

The challenge was the scale and diversity of the Bank’s activities over the past century. We wanted to build the image of the Bank as an institution that has been accompanying Poles in their daily lives for 100 years, providing support in making important decisions and actively participating in the history and development of Poland and Poles through bold decisions.

Effects

February to April 2019. The site has reached nearly 900,000. Entries generated by 735,500. Users.

The age range of visitors was very wide (18-65 years). This is not typical of such projects and Internet demographics.

The rejection rate was very low – only 0.84%. The average number of pages per session is 2.56.

Conclusion

Both the website and the album “One Hundred Years of Bold Decisions of PKO Bank Polski” summarize a century of the Bank’s activities, breaking standard thinking. Going beyond the pattern of existing solutions and using original design made it possible to communicate such an important event in an unconventional, attractive and modern way.
